Patta and Finnish running brand Karhu present their debut collaboration on the iconic Karhu Fusion. In 1996, Karhu’s highly technical Fusion was the top running shoe of their collection. To bring the Fusion back from the archives, the silhouette’s original designer personally revised and updated the model.
The modernized Karhu x Patta Fusion 2.0 is outfitted in dark navy premium pigskin suede, grey nubuck, sportive mesh in a rich tone of magenta, understated deep green eyelets and nylon heel pulls. Topping it off, you’ll find a camouflage sockliner print. Branding is kept to a minimum for this collaboration, with logo’s only appearing on the footbed and the tongue’s woven label.
Staying true to its trail running-feel, the Karhu x Patta Fusion 2.0 comes with three matching sets of hiking laces. The resulting aesthetic exemplifies Patta’s approach to blend classic performance with present-day sensibilities, balancing between subtle and flamboyant.
The Karhu x Patta Fusion 2.0 was first released at Patta and Stussy New York on Saturday, December 12th, followed up with a worldwide release December 19th at selected Karhu Titan accounts.
