To honor the Philly Cheesesteak, Ubiq has teamed in a collaborative project with Italian footwear brand Diadora. Using Diadora’s most premium materials to construct a shoe reminiscent of regional’s favorite. The upper is a contrast of materials, premium leathers, and suedes, evoking the hoagie rolls used as the base of a cheesesteak. Just like the steak itself, either side of the shoe features a “Wit” or “Wit-Out” branding hit, rather than the normal N.9000 placement, adding a personal touch from your friends in the City of Brotherly Love. Including also the infamous “Whiz” hit through the Diadora mark on the side in a premium American-Cheese-Yellow leather, as well as playing off the Diadora logo on the tongue for a subtle cheese-wiz hit. The insole features a traditional cheesesteak paper wrap branding design, with the moniker “The World Over EST.2002 Family Owned & Operated Since 2002.” Every pair of N.9000’s will also come with 4 lace options: two sets of two-tone rope laces, as well as a set of ketchup-red & whiz-yellow flat laces.
